I'm sure this has been asked before but do to pratice rooms count toward break on miles?? Or in race only , also what's the average time / miles for break in

Lounge free run doesn't add distance (that's the only place that doesn't), an online race does but it all gets applied post-race (sometimes you won't get the distance). Offline races (A- or B- spec) add distance as you drive. 200 miles is full break in.

Thanks :) after a oil change do you lose the break in time? Or once its broken it it stays until oil life gets bad?

Break-in is based on distance, it stays. You need nonfactory oil for max power. Once the power drops after that change the oil again - I forget how long it takes to dirty the oil as I've been done the offline for a while now, I change my oil before and after every TPRA race. After 6000ish miles showing on odometer, it won't get back to max power even with GTAuto engine rebuild.

Most people use the Laguna Seca B-Spec endurance race to break in their new cars. You have to be at a certain B-spec points level, that value escapes me now. You enter your new car in the race, come back a couple hours later and you have a broken-in car.

The DLC Nissan GT-R GT500 Stealth Model is at max HP and PP after an oil change, no break-in required.

B-Spec'd it last night at Laguna, oil change this morning and the figures are the same.
