While I bought this title months ago, Life did not support me installing it onto my PS4 until Christmas Day. The Update was taking hours, so we played it as is. Big mistake, it really felt sketch. We explored it a bit and then I watched some movies with Care. The morning of Boxing day ( yesterday), I finished the update and bought 3 DLC Packs. I am really kinda impressed with this game so far, but only have about 2-3 hours experience so far. The Black Cat Track is fun as hell in the FT86 Toyota. Mastr GT and I are supposed to have some practice sessions this week. My Man-Cave has been cleaned up, some extra setup work done on my Racing Station, and I am getting back into Racing finally !

That's great news Swerv! Look me up on the ps or facebook if you want to do any racing or if you need any help.

And ignore how dead this place looks, somehow today we've lost all post since November 3rd. It will be looked into tomorrow.

Hey Swerv. I'm like you in that I bought Corsa quite a while ago and still haven't raced it yet. I was waiting for more feedback. Initially I had heard it wasn't that good, but maybe I'll load it up on the PS4 and take a spin.

The online portion of the game is the let-down area. The developers say they aim to fix this but their current priority with AC is on PC. However, they've just moved into a bigger studio so this should hopefully help with bringing the online part of the game in-line with GT6 and/or P CARS. :)

On track, it feels like probably the most realistic simulation on PS4. :sHa_thumb2:

Raced with MasterGT, Pete, Wild, DelDave and a few others on Monday night. The little Abarth was a ***** to keep on the track as it couldn't generate tire temp, but once we switched to GT3s I started really enjoying myself. We were in a private lobby that required an invitation from MasterGT but once you were in everything went smoothly. If you want to come out and run with him click on his profile and send a request to join his group....(the name escapes me now)....and he will promptly accept you. Hope to see more of you out there.:sHa_thumb2:

MastrGT community name is Race Room.
We ran Drive Club last night, just to try something different, a lotta laughs and good fun, nothing too serious.
That was in Wyld Animals club room.

I bought Assetto Corsa with my PS4 Pro. I was expecting something near GT6. What I have found is a disappointment. To me the physics are somewhere between GT4 & GT5. All cars seem to understeer significantly. Not only that, but there doesn't seem to be much transition when you get to the limit. Pushing a car toward it's limits, no matter how smooth, doesn't reward a driver with quicker times.
For me, it feels a lot less like a racing game than any SIM I've ever used. I continue to race every day, so perhaps I will come up with different conclusions.

It seems that drivers either get along with AC or they don't. If you can race with us Monday nights, it will give you some good seat time. This coming Monday will have longer, endurance races.

I have paid attention to how AC cars handle since you wrote this and don't notice a lot of understeer, so I am wondering what is happening so that you see it and I don't. Is it certain cars, driving style, tuning?

I'm racing intermediate series right now, and still insist that all cars are understeering. If I try any style other than very slow in and fast out, I run off the course. I am planning to trade AC in as it just isn't a a good SIM.

Have you tried any online races Bang?

I found the online racing polar opposite of offline.

There has to be a reason for you to experience what you are feeling. Before you do get rid of AC, I would appreciate getting into the same lobby as you or, at the least, to see a video showing what is happening.

I made a video of one of AC Special Events to give you an example of a difficult combination - the F40 at Mugello. The car should give you oversteer and possible understeer issues on this track.

What is your experience with this event?
