Crew Chief's Corner was started November 28th 2008. By this time, GT5P had been out for 4 months and I started to notice something. First that the tuning did a lot for the car and second that about 90% of the drivers had no clue on how to tune. By now I had switched from a controller to the DFGT and started to work on tunes for the cars in GT5P.
As I worked on the tunes, I gave them out to drivers so they could give me some feed back. As they reported in with thier suggestions, I was able to fine tune the tunes before making them public. Over this time I was able to find that not everything in the GT world worked as in the real world. Finding this out made it a lot easier to tune the cars. At this time, there was no CCC but I was willing to give out my tunes to anyone that needed them. As the weeks went by, someone started to call me "Crew Chief",( I think it was swerv.) And the name stuck. With all the requests for help, I started the thread at the PSU of Crew Chief's Corner. At first, some where upset with me as they felt that by posting my tunes, the bashers would have a way to keep up with the clean drivers and cause havok. But thier fears were soon put aside as it was shown that a good tune is only 1/2 the puzzle. If you were a bad driver, there was no way a tune was going to help.
So here we are today. With over 260 tunes. Including tunes from guest tuners, I feel that this is one of the biggest collections of tunes for GT5P. I have found some of the tunes posted at other forums. Now some say this is the biggest form of flatery. I do wish they asked me first if they could repost them on another forum. CCC has branched out with other help threads. Driving tips and a Tuning school. And once GT5 full comes out, watch for "Crew Chief's Driving School" Here I hope to help the new drivers make that next step on the ladder to the top tier. And with 900+ cars in GT5, I will have my work cut out for me as the requests for tunes will be great. So here's to the future and a big THANK YOU for the support in the past.

That was then, this is now. With GT5 coming out, a new world of tuning is in the works. With karts to LMP1, there is a huge number of cars coming and I'll post my tunes as they are finished.Stay tuned
