Practice sessions are held on the night preceding a points series event.
These nights are reserved for drivers of the upcoming event to get out on the track with other drivers from the points series as well as drivers that are only registered for the practice sessions and not the points series event on the following night.
This allows the drivers participating in the coming event to get in some practice races as well as providing an opportunity for new drivers or any one else for that matter to run some practice races with the series drivers.
Registration for an event must be made before 3:00 AM EDT the morning of the practice session the driver wishes to participate in to receive an automated email from the TPRA Event Staff containing the session schedule and details. Once you have registered for the practice session series you will receive an Email at 3:30 AM EDT the morning of each practice session scheduled in the series.
The practice sessions are set up to require no hosting staff other than setting up a chat for the event. Once a driver has joined the practice session series they will receive an automated Email at 3:30 EDT the morning of any scheduled practice. This Email will contain start times and event specific information needed to participate in the current practice session.
Registering for the practice sessions is done in the RPM database by using the drivers log in and then clicking on the series link to join or edit series.
